Fair Winds Cottages, a reasonably priced home to relax and enjoy
the natural beauty of St. John, in a private site with spectacular views.

Our St. John home, Fair Winds,  (called Fair Winds & Following Seas under previous management), is a charming, colorfully-appointed place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of St. John. The houses are located in Coral Bay in a private, secluded, tropical site with a spectacular, 20 mile view.  The Main House, which includes an adjoining private bedroom building and spa, is designed for a single couple and would make a romantic and relaxing getaway or a lovely honeymoon destination. The nearby Guest Cottage can also be rented to provide comfortable accommodations for couples vacationing with friends or family.

 Fair Winds Main House and Guest Cottage have comfortable seating and entertainment centers with flat screen TV’s, radio/cds, I-pod docking stations and wireless Internet (WiFi). The houses also include fully-equipped, Corian-stainless kitchens and sleeping areas with four poster, mahagony beds. Outdoors are spacious eating and cooking areas, and private spas.  Our decks, with their breathtaking views, offer relaxing spaces for sun-bathing from a tropical garden setting.  Having stayed and enjoyed our experience at Maho Bay, we hope that you will consider Fair Winds Cottages as a possible alternative.

Fair Winds Main House, Coral Bay, St. John

The Main House has a colorful “Island” exterior and interior and a deck for relaxing and enjoying the 180 degree, 20 mile view.   It is a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the Bananaquits eating sugar out of the coconut shell bird feeder.  It is also a wonderful place to enjoy the moon rising over the East End of St. John and marvel at the star-filled night sky.

Fair Winds Guest Cottage, Coral Bay, St. John

Fair Winds Guest Cottage is spacious and tastefully furnished and painted in cheerful West Indian colors.  This charming cottage has lovely, well appointed dining/sitting/ and sleeping areas.  There are  beautiful island and ocean views from the interior as well as the deck.  The deck has a comfortabe, sitting/dining area and a private, relaxing spa.
